Look me in the eyes
The original photo was just a quick shot when my kiddo walked past a wall. I have edited the photo to add more dramatic lighting to make it looks more like a portrait.

It looks like rain
This is an outdoor photo taken in a late summer afternoon. The model was in front of a brownish red wall. I think that it would look great with a rain overlay but I don’t have it.

To the dreamland
This is a JPEG photo taken on a Xiaomi note 4. You really don’t need an amazing photo to begin with. I wanted to add an ethereal feeling to the photo. There are lots of editing that can be done to regular JPEG photos.

Running away
I was taking a walk with my kiddo. Then he started to race me. I didn’t have the time to change the settings on my phone and quickly snapped a photo. The original photo is overexposed. I’m not sure whether I like more the first or the second photo so I’m posting both.

Stop the Time
The original photo is underexposed. The model is looking at a pocket watch. I evidenced the light source and gave it a suspended-in-time atmosphere. When the light is too low, usually I prefer to have an underexposed photo instead of bumping up ISO. I know that I can brighten it up afterwards.

How to shoot in RAW
You just have to search on Google “how to shoot in raw _______________________” and insert in the space whatever the model of your camera or phone is.
Generally speaking, you just have to choose to save in both JPEG and RAW in your camera settings. If you are using your phone, you just have to choose to shoot in PRO mode (in the menu where you find different modes, like “food”, “portrait”, etc. Choose “MORE”, then choose “PRO mode”. )
Photography Tip: Make sure that your photos are not overexposed (too bright). It is always safer to have an underexposed photo than an overexposed photo.
