FAQ

Do I need expensive gear?

No, you don’t. It is best if you can shoot in RAW (almost all cameras/phones have that option, you just have to enable it). See my blog post on how to set up your camera/phone to do it.

All photos in my portfolio are shot with an entry level mirrorless camera (Panasonic G6) or my phone (Samsung Note 10) unless otherwise specified.

Do you work on JPEG photos?

Yes, I do. Here is a sample of my work on a JPEG photo shot with a budget phone (Xiaomi Note 4). With JPEG photos I won’t be able to recover as much details as in RAW photo.

How long is the turnaround time?

The turnaround time is 7 days from when I receive the payment.

How much does it cost?

For personal non-commercial use, the cost is 45 EUR per photo. For commercial use I would need to know your intended use of the photo and the distribution scale to determine the pricing.

How does it work?

After reserving your spot, you will get information on how to send me the photo. If you are undecided on which photos to get edited, you can send me up to 3 photos and I can help you choose. Once I have accepted your photo (if the photo is unworkable, I will let you know. No cost is charged in that case) you will receive a PayPal invoice. Alternatively I can also arrange payment through Payhip or Etsy. After receiving the payment, I will start working on the photo.

What if I don’t like the edited version?

Before sending you the final version, I will send you a draft version for you to preview and approve. If you want to make changes, just let me know. Once you have approved the draft, I will send you the final version in the original resolution. Please note that the price includes only one iteration of changes. Additional changes incur additional cost.
